    Drinking water in Israel becomes cloudy after the earthquake between Turkey and Syria

    Drinking water in the northeast Israel has become cloudy after deadly earthquakes struck parts of Syria And Turkeysaid local authorities.

    The Israeli Ministry of Health issued a statement instructing residents of the city of Beit She’an and dozens of other places in the area to boil drinking and cooking water, Xinhua news agency reported.

    Israel’s national water company Mekorot explained that earthquake shock waves caused debris to enter the water at drilling sites in the area.

    Powerful earthquakes rocked southern Turkey and neighboring Syria on Monday morning, killing at least 2,700 people.

    The earthquakes were also strongly felt in Israel and Lebanon.
